Final Prices To Compare Await Updated Transmission Charge

PECO has filed with the Pennsylvania PUC new electric Generation Supply Adjustment (GSA) charges for the period beginning December 1, 2019

PECO has also posted 'pending' updated Prices to Compare for the period beginning December 1, 2019. However, such pending PTCs are not final as a customary transmission rate change is expected to be later filed for approval effective December 1. The pending PTCs are listed at the bottom of this story for indicative purposes only, and we stress these are not final PTCs and that they use the current transmission rate

The GSA (labeled generation charge) is the largest component of the Price to Compare (PTC). The final PTCs will also include the transmission charge.

For residential customers (R, RH), PECO's GSA effective December 1 will be 6.114¢/kWh, versus the current 6.262¢/kWh

For General Service (GS) customers at or under 100 kW, PECO's GSA effective December 1 will be 5.856¢/kWh, versus the current 5.947¢/kWh

For Primary - Distribution Power (PD) customers at or under 100 kW, PECO's GSA effective December 1 will be 5.756¢/kWh, versus the current 5.845¢/kWh

For High - Tension Power (HT) customers at or under 100 kW, PECO's GSA effective December 1 will be 5.521¢/kWh, versus the current 5.608¢/kWh

The new GSAs are to be effective December 1, 2019 through February 29, 2020. The rates remain subject to PUC approval

Pending PTCs

PECO has posted pending Prices to Compare as follows. As discussed above, PECO's transmission rate is expected to change (under a later filing) effective December 1, so the PTCs are not final and provided for indicative purposes only. All PTCs below use the current transmission rate
