Former FERC General Counsel Joins Operator Of Retail Energy Concierge Shopping Service, Renewable Energy Marketer

Arcadia Power has appointed Max Minzner as its new General Counsel.
Minzner previously served as General Counsel of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission
"This hire comes during a period of major expansion for the company, which experienced 100% user-growth over the past year and recently appointed its first COO, Kate Henningsen," the company said (see story on Henningsen joining the company here)
Minzner is joining Arcadia Power from Jenner & Block, where he was a partner. Minzner spent over a decade teaching law at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University and the University of New Mexico School of Law, where he also served as Associate Dean.
As previously reported, Arcadia Power offers a "Smart Rate" program, which monitors retail energy rates for customers and automatically switches customers, and which the company recently said is now active in 13 open energy markets.
