New York PSC Revokes Eligibility Of ESCO

The New York PSC issued an order revoking the eligibility of Bluesource Energy, LLC to serve energy customers in New York State as an ESCO
The PSC said that Bluesource does not have any customers in New York State and is identified as 'Not Active' by the Department. Bluesource has never had any customers in any service territory, the PSC said
To maintain ESCO eligibility status, UBP § 2.D.1 requires each ESCO to submit, by January 31 of each year, a statement that the information and attachments contained in the ESCO’s Retail Access Application Form and application package are current. Or, if revisions to its application and package are being made, the ESCO must file these revisions by January 31st.
The PSC said in its order that, "Bluesource has not complied with the annual filing requirements of UBP §2.D.1, despite the many notices provided to Bluesource, including service of [a] June 2019 Order to Show Cause."
The PSC said in its order that, "Bluesource also never responded to the June 2019 Show Cause Order."
