Pulse Power, under its Lone Star Energy brand, was recently selected as the retail provider to implement the offering of wind power from a local wind farm to Texas members and customers of REI, a retail co-op offering outdoor clothing, gear and footwear

REI is procuring wind power from the Lone Star II wind farm for six of its Texas retail locations under a program run by RPD Energy and Intuit

REI is also inviting its members and customers to purchase power from the wind farm, through a program under which Lone Star Energy serves as the retail provider

Lone Star Energy is offering a fixed plan providing 100% renewable energy, sourced from the same local wind farm used by REI Texas stores, with a term of 6, 12, 24 or 36 months.

In the Oncor service area, the 12-month plan has an average all-in rate of 11.8 cents per kWh, at 1,000 kWh usage. An early termination fee of $20.00/month times the remaining months until the end of the initial term applies
