Pepco Residential Generation Rate To Fall 23% In Summer 2020, Small C&I Rate To Decline 8%

Pepco has filed with the Maryland PSC new residential and Type I SOS rates for the period beginning June 1, 2020, and new Type II SOS rates for the period beginning December 1, 2019.

For Schedule R residential customers, Pepco's generation rate for the period beginning June 1, 2020 will be 5.180 cents per kWh, which is 23% lower than the current rate of 6.714 cents per kWh, and compares to the 2019 summer rate of 5.575 cents per kWh

For Schedule GS Type I customers, Pepco's generation rate for the period beginning June 1, 2020 will be 5.585 cents per kWh, which is 8% lower than the current rate of 6.124 cents per kWh, and compares to the 2019 summer rate of 5.761 cents per kWh

Rates below, in cents per kWh, reflect only the energy component of SOS, and not transmission or reconciliations.
