NSTAR Electric Company d/b/a Eversource Energy filed with the Massachusetts DPU new basic service rates for its Western Massachusetts service territory (WMA), formerly WMECO, for the period beginning January 1, 2020

All rates below reflect the currently effective Basic Service Adders, Renewable Portfolio Standard, Alternative Energy Portfolio Standard and Clean Energy Standard Adders

The filed new fixed residential default service rate of 11.571¢/kWh for January through June 2020 is about 17% higher than the current rate of 9.851¢/kWh.

The filed new fixed small C&I basic service rate of 11.696¢/kWh for January through June 2020 is about 15% higher than the current rate of 10.145¢/kWh.

WMECO's as-filed rates are below in ¢/kWh, and include the currently effective Basic Service Adders, Renewable Portfolio Standard, Alternative Energy Portfolio Standard and Clean Energy Standard Adders

NextEra Energy Marketing, LLC was selected to serve a portion of WMECO residential and streetlighting basic service load for the periods beginning January 1, 2020 and July 1, 2020
