The Maine PUC approved new Standard Offer electric rates for Central Maine Power and Emera Maine-Maine Public District (MPD, formerly MPS) for various customer classes for the period January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020

At CMP, the residential and small commercial Standard Offer rate for the period January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020 will be $0.073037 per kWh, about 20% lower than the current $0.090029 per kWh

CMP Standard Offer rates for the medium non-residential class will vary by month, as follows:

Prices for large CMP business customers will be indexed to market prices and set in advance of each month, as was done last year for large business standard offer service.

At MPS, the residential and small commercial Standard Offer rate for the period January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020 will be $0.067294 per kWh, about 20% lower than the current $0.08461 per kWh
