Nstar (Eversource Energy-Eastern MA service area) has filed basic service electric rates with the Massachusetts DPU for the period beginning January 1, 2020

All rates in this story include the existing Basic Service Adders, Renewable Portfolio Standard Adders, Alternative Energy Portfolio Standard Adders, and the Clean Energy Standard Adders, consistent with Nstar's basic service tariff filing. As such, the rates below will change when any new adders are approved.

For Nstar residential customers, the fixed January 1, 2020 to June 30, 2020 basic service rate as filed is 12.422¢/kWh, which is about 15% higher than the current rate of 10.836¢/kWh

For Nstar small C&I customers, the fixed January 1, 2020 to June 30, 2020 basic service rate as filed is 11.912¢/kWh, which is about 13% higher than the current rate of 10.569¢/kWh

Proposed Nstar basic service rates are below, in ¢/kWh. The rates include the currently effective Basic Service Adders, Renewable Portfolio Standard Adders, Alternative Energy Portfolio Standard Adders, and the Clean Energy Standard Adders. Basic service rates may differ from the below as the adders change.
