NYSERDA Posts 2020 Tier 1 REC Sale Price, ACP For ESCOs, LSEs

NYSERDA has posted the 2020 vintage Tier 1 REC sale price and 2020 ACP price applicable to LSEs, such as ESCOs, which must comply with the clean energy standard
NYSERDA has posted a 2020 vintage Tier 1 REC sale price of $22.09 per MWh
NYSERDA has posted a 2020 ACP price of $24.30 per MWh
Prices for prior-year vintage RECs were previously set and will remain at such levels
The 2018 vintage Tier 1 REC sale price is $17.01/MWh and the 2019 vintage Tier 1 REC sale price is $22.43/MWh
LSEs may be able to purchase 2018 and 2019 Tier 1 RECs during the 2020 compliance year if unpurchased 2018 and 2019 Tier 1 RECs are available. NYSERDA notes on its website that 2018 and 2019 Tier 1 RECs can be used for compliance in the 2020 compliance year
