PSE&G announced today that it is issuing a bill credit to its default service customers for its gas supply during February and March due to lower gas supply costs.

The credit it 7.5 cents per therm (including Sales and Use Tax) for BGSS-RSG customers – for service rendered 2/1/20 through 3/31/20.

"Lower natural gas prices, combined with our ability to efficiently manage our gas supply contracts and purchases, have produced cost savings and we are pleased that our customers can benefit," said Michael Schmid, PSE&G’s vice president of Asset Management & Centralized Services.

A typical residential customer who receives gas supply from PSE&G will save about $26, or 9%, for usage during February and March of 344 therms.
