ERCOT Receives Notification of Suspension Of Operations For Plant Previously Announced To Retire

ERCOT received a Notification of Suspension of Operations (NSO) from Public Service Company of Oklahoma for the following Generation Resource: Oklaunion (OKLA_OKLA_G1)

The NSO indicates that the Generation Resource will be decommissioned and retired permanently as of October 1, 2020.

The NSO further indicates that the Generation Resource has a summer Seasonal Net Max Sustainable Rating of 650 MW and a summer Seasonal Net Minimum Sustainable Rating of 190 MW.

AEP had previously announced in 2018 that it would permanently close the Oklaunion Power Station by Sept. 30, 2020, citing adverse market conditions
