Consolidated Edison has filed new purchase of receivable discount rates, effective February 1, 2020, for electricity and natural gas

The new discount rates reflect updated POR Credit & Collections factors as set in a recent rate case order

For electricity, the new POR Discount Percentage is 3.62%.

This reflects the following components:

ConEd Electric POR Discount

Uncollectible Bill Percentage     0.72%
Risk Factor                       0.11%
Credit and Collections Component 
  (including reconciliation)      2.64%
Incremental Cost Component        0.15%

Total                             3.62%

For comparison, the most recent ConEd electric POR discount had been 3.05%.

For natural gas, ConEd's new POR Discount Percentage is 1.37%.
