The New York PSC has approved the renewal of waivers for three ESCOs to allow such ESCOs to serve low-income (assistance program participant) customers with a guaranteed savings plan

The PSC granted renewals of such authority to Ambit New York, LLC; New Wave Energy Corporation; and Zone One Energy, LLC

In each case, the renewal of the waiver was limited to 24 months

In each case, the PSC found that each ESCO had demonstrated in semi-annual compliance reports that it had provided a minimum savings of 1% to its low-income customers as compared to the otherwise applicable utility price
