An RFP for a retail supplier to serve 100% of the Percentage of Income Payment Plan (PIPP) customer load at the FirstEnergy Ohio utilities for the term June 1, 2020 to May 31, 2021 resulted in 100% of the PIPP load being procured, a post-RFP report states
PUCO is to consider results of the RFP at its meeting today

Following the PUCO review of the RFP process and results, bidders will be notified whether or not a Supplemental RFP will be conducted.
A benchmark price of $44.09 per MWh had been established in the RFP.
As previously reported, the PIPP RFP process is only open to certificated retail suppliers
