Texas PUC Approves REP Certificate Amendment To Reflect Name Change

The Texas PUC granted an amendment to retail electric provider certificate #10141 to reflect that the entity holding the certificate has changed its legal and certificated name to World Power & Gas, LP, from Mega Energy, LP. As previously reported, the company will continue to use the trade name Texans Energy. The company noted that, "This is a name change only and has no impact on the operations or ownership of the Company."

LED Lighting Provider Receives Texas Aggregator Certificate

The Texas PUC granted LED National LLC, which offers LED lighting and related services, an electric aggregator certificate to serve commercial customers. LED National had already been registered as a Texas electric broker
