National Grid Residential POR Discount To Increase 20%, To Above 3%

National Grid in Massachusetts has filed new proposed purchase of receivables discount rates (standard complete billing percentages) to be effective May 1, 2020.
Under National Grid's filing, the residential POR discount rate would increase 20% to 3.11%.
The commercial POR discount would nearly double to 1.35%

Pursuant to § 8B.2.a of its tariffs, National Grid also
provided the average historical payment periods for the POR program that will be in place May
1, 2020. The payment periods are as follows: Residential 45 days; Commercial 45 days; and
Industrial 37 days.
