The Retail Energy Supply Association issued the following statement regarding COVID-19.

"RESA and its members understand the impact COVID-19 is having on consumers and businesses across the U.S. In light of the ongoing health crisis, several public utility commissions have recently suspended all door-to-door and in-person marketing activity for the duration of the state of emergency. In certain jurisdictions, this moratorium applies to many categories of retail market participants including, but not limited to, retail electric suppliers, brokers, energy consultants and aggregators. RESA encourages all retail market participants to carefully review the applicable orders and the relevant statutory provisions and make the appropriate decisions. The issue of public health and safety should be everyone’s top priority and all retail market participants should heed the directives issued by the federal, state and local authorities."
