The following story is brought free of charge to readers by EC Infosystems, the exclusive EDI provider of EnergyChoiceMatters.com

Alpha Gas & Electric, LLC petitioned the New York PSC for a partial waiver of the PSC's retail market reset order to allow Alpha to provide a 'green gas' product offering, "as a value-added premium product to its customers seeking to decarbonize their energy profile (the 'Green Gas Program')."

Terms of the proposed product were filed under seal

As previously reported, for natural gas, ESCOs under the reset order are limited to providing mass market customers with a guaranteed savings (versus the utility) plan, or a fixed rate product that is limited in price to a 12-month trailing average utility supply rate plus a 5% premium
