Through a newly created subsidiary, Genie Retail Energy, Inc. is acquiring Thermo Choice, LP currently d/b/a Generations Energy, a retail natural gas marketer in Georgia serving residential, commercial and industrial customers
The Georgia PSC has approved the proposed acquisition, along with Thermo Choice LP's request to change its name to Town Square Energy Georgia LP, effective upon the closing of the proposed acquisition
Ochsner Interests represented the buyer, Genie Retail Energy, in the transaction.
Genie Retail Energy, Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Genie Energy Ltd.
