Large Customer Advocacy Group ELCON Names New President and CEO

The Electricity Consumers Resource Council (ELCON) named Travis Fisher as ELCON’s new
President and CEO, effective April 16.
Fisher has over 15 years of experience in energy policy, most recently serving for the past two years as
Economic Advisor to FERC Commissioner Bernard McNamee, and several roles under former FERC Chairman Kevin McIntyre.
In January 2017, after serving as an integral member of President Trump's transition team at both FERC and
the Department of Energy (DOE), Fisher joined DOE as a Senior Advisor in the Office of Electricity Delivery
and Energy Reliability.
Fisher was an economist at the
Institute for Energy Research for several years, and prior to that served as a staff economist at FERC from
2006 to 2013.
