Texas PUC Commissioner Wants To See If Process For Pro Se Customer Complainants Can Be Improved

During Friday's open meeting, in discussing a customer complaint case against a retail electric provider (see related story here), Commissioner Arthur C. D'Andrea expressed a desire for the Commission to make the State Office of Administrative Hearings process cleaner for pro se litigants, such as customers filing a formal complaint against their retail electric provider

D'Andrea said that he didn't know if there are a lot of solutions, but would like the process to flow better for pro se litigants

D'Andrea encouraged discussion of the issue among Commission Advising & Docket Management and the PUC chief judge
