Retail Supplier Launches Local New England Green Power Energy Plan

Starion Energy has launched, for customers in Massachusetts and Connecticut, a New England Green Power Plan that includes 100% local green power, in the form of RECs, reflecting wind power, solar power, and small hydropower sources generated in New England.

Sources include small hydropower from New England, run-of-the-river facilities in Connecticut, and select wind and solar power from Massachusetts.

The New England Green Power Plan is offered in various fixed term lengths, such as 6 months and 12 months

In the National Grid area of Massachusetts, Starion's 12 month fixed New England Green Power Plan has a rate of $0.1289 per kWh. There is no early termination fee

Other standard Starion rewards are also included with the product, as well as a $25 amazon gift card

Starion Energy will also have 10 trees planted in a special location around the United States for every customer that signs up for the New England Green product on Earth Day, April 22nd.

The table below provides the projected resource mix of the New England Green Power Plan for 2020, averaged annually:
