Updated: Oncor, CenterPoint-Houston, AEP Texas Report Number Of ESI IDs For Which MarkeTrak Was Submitted By REPs Indicating Customer Qualified For Electricity Relief Program

In response to a Texas PUC directive to the TDUs, Oncor, CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric, and AEP Texas have reported certain information concerning the COVID-19 Electricity Relief Program ("Program")
EnergyChoiceMatters.com had first reported Texas-New Mexico Power Company's reported data yesterday (repeated below)
Oncor
Oncor was directed to report the total number of electric service identifiers (ESI IDs) in the TDU’s service
area identified as qualified for the Program through a MarkeTrak submitted by
the customer’s Retail Electric Provider, as of the close of business on April 24,
2020.
In response, Oncor reported that the total number of ESI IDs submitted by a REP via MarkeTrak as of April 24 was 8,498. This figure excludes 10 ESI IDs submitted in error by a REP that were processed by Oncor including canceling and rebilling
previous month invoices. Oncor is in the process of resubmitting the original previous month invoices for these ESI IDs.
Oncor was directed to report the total number of ESI IDs in the TDU’s service area actually qualified for the
Program upon TDU review of the MarkeTrak request, as of the close of business
on April 24, 2020.
In response, Oncor reported that the total number of ESI IDs actually qualified for the Program as of April 24 were 3,345. Oncor noted that ESI IDs submitted via MarkeTrak and received on Friday, April 24th were processed on Monday, April 27th and are included
in this figure.
CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric
CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric had been directed to report the total number of electric service identifiers (ESI IDs) in the TDU’s service area identified as qualified for the Program through a MarkeTrak submitted by the customer’s Retail Electric Provider, as of the close of business on April 24, 2020.
In response, CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric reported the total number of ESI IDs identified as qualified by REPs as 3,953 ERP_A and 94 ERP_P for a total of 4,047 ESI IDs
CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric had been directed to report the total number of ESI IDs in the TDU’s service area actually qualified for the Program upon TDU review of the MarkeTrak request, as of the close of business on April 24, 2020.
In response, CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric reported the total number of ESI IDs actually qualified by the TDU as 3,205 ERP_A and 64 ERP_P for a total of 3,269 ESI IDs
AEP Texas
AEP Texas was directed to report the total number of electric service identifiers (ESI IDs) in the TDU’s service area identified as qualified for the Program through a MarkeTrak submitted by the customer’s Retail Electric Provider, as of the close of business on April 24, 2020.
In response, AEP Texas reported that the total number of ESI IDs identified as qualified in the AEP Texas service area for the Program through MarkeTrak submitted by the Retail Electric Providers as of the close of business on April 24, 2020 was as follows:
AEP Texas was directed to report the total number of ESI IDs in the TDU’s service area actually qualified for the Program upon TDU review of the MarkeTrak request, as of the close of business on April 24, 2020.
In response, AEP Texas reported that the total number of ESI IDs identified in AEP Texas’ service area actually qualified for the Program upon AEP Texas’ review of the MarkeTrak request as of April 24, 2020 was as follows:
Texas-New Mexico Power Company
TNMP was directed to report the total number of electric service identifiers (ESI IDs) in the TDU's service area identified as qualified for the Program through a MarkeTrak submitted by the customer's Retail Electric Provider, as of the close of business on April 24, 2020.
In response, TNMP reported that retail electric providers issued MarkeTraks that identified 374 ESI IDs qualified for the Electricity Relief Program.
TNMP was also directed to report the total number of ESI IDs in the TDU's service area that actually qualified for the Program upon TDU review of the MarkeTrak request, as of the close of business on April 24
In response, TNMP reported that TNMP determined only 336 ESI IDs or 90% of the submitted ESI IDs were qualified for the Electricity Relief Program in TNMP's service territory.
