ERCOT Launches COVID-19 Load Forecasting Page

At the request of stakeholders, ERCOT has developed a Long-Term Load Forecast for the COVID-19 Scenario (click here) page on the ERCOT website.
The forecast is based on data provided by Moody’s Analytics in the April economic forecast. The web page contains Demand and energy data using adjusted peak Load forecasts that correlate with Moody’s economic forecast.
ERCOT noted that stakeholders can use this information to perform their own analyses.
ERCOT also publishes a weekly high-level COVID-19 Load impact analysis on the Trending Topics page under "Presentations & Other" on the ERCOT website. These weekly updates will continue for the foreseeable future.
