Staff of the Public Service Commission of Maryland ('Staff') sought an extension of the deadline for filing proposed regulations for Supplier Consolidated Billing, for the Commission’s review, from June 1, 2020 to September 30, 2020, and also proposed a delayed start date for SCB

"Staff seeks this extension in order that all issues and underlying business practices necessary to supplier consolidated billing may be thoroughly addressed by the Supplier Consolidated Billing Working Group ('SCBWG') and to the extent necessary reduced to regulation. In order to accomplish this goal Staff believes this requested extension is required. This matter has been discussed within the SCBWG and most members either concur with or do not object to the requested extension," Staff said

In a non-consensus proposed revised SCB implementation schedule, Staff now proposes an SCB start date of January 1, 2023

Previously, the SCB working group planned for SCB to begin on September 1, 2022.
