The following story is brought free of charge to readers by EC Infosystems, the exclusive EDI provider of EnergyChoiceMatters.com

AEP Texas, Staff of the Public Utility Commission of Texas, the Alliance for Retail Markets (ARM), Cities Served by AEP Texas (Cities), and Texas Industrial Energy Consumers (TIEC) have filed a stipulation under which new amounts for AEP Texas' distribution cost recovery factor (Rider DCRF) would be set

Currently, the amounts for Rider DCRF, a charge applicable to REPs, are $0 (due to AEP's recent rate case placing costs into base rates)

The new amounts for Rider DCRF would apply on a system-wide basis

Under the stipulation, the new amounts for Rider DCRF would become effective for bills rendered on and after September 1, 2020. AEP Texas is to provide notice to Retail Electric Providers of such rates by July 17, 2020. The signatories further agree that they support an agreed motion requesting interim rates, reflecting the new DCRF charges, pursuant to 16 TAC § 22.125 to be effective for bills rendered on and after September 1, 2020, to the extent necessary

The new amounts for Rider DCRF for billings on and after September 1, 2020 are as follows under the stipulation:
