Liberty Utilities (Granite State Electric) has filed with the New Hampshire PUC proposed new energy service (default service) rates for the six-month period August 1, 2020, through January 31, 2021

All rates in this story are total, all-in rates reflecting the base rate, RPS adder, the Energy Service Reconciliation Adjustment Factor, and the Energy Service Cost Reclassification Adjustment Factor

For the Small Customer Group at Granite State Electric, the total energy service rate for the period August 1, 2020, through January 31, 2021 is $0.06825 per kWh, or 5% lower than the current rate of $0.07193 per kWh

The Small Customer Group includes customers taking service under Domestic Service Rate D; Domestic Service - Optional Peak Load Pricing Rate D-10; Outdoor Lighting Service Rate M; Limited Total Electrical Living Rate T; General Service Rate G-3; and Limited Commercial Space Heating Rate V

For the Large Customer Group, the new all-in energy service rates are:

The Large Customer Group includes customers taking service under General Long-Hour Service Rate G-2 and General Service Time-Of-Use Rate G-1

All rates remain subject to PUC approval

Liberty Utilities entered into a wholesale Transaction Confirmation with Calpine Energy Services, L.P, the winning bidder to provide Energy Service to the Large Customer Group for the three-month period August 1, 2020, through October 31, 2020.

Liberty Utilities entered into a wholesale Transaction Confirmation with NextEra Energy Marketing, LLC, the winning bidder to provide Energy Service to the Large Customer Group for the three-month period November 1, 2020 through January 31, 2021, and to the Small Customer Group for the six-month period August 1, 2020, through January 31, 2021.
