New York natural gas ESCO High Rise Energy Group, LLC has formed a new retail supplier subsidiary: Grand Energy, LLC

Grand Energy, LLC has applied for an Ohio Competitive Retail Natural Gas Service (CRNGS) certificate as a marketer and broker, serving all customer classes in all service areas

In its Ohio application, Grand Energy said that it intends to become, "a Competitive Retail Natural Gas Supplier ('CRNG'), a Competitive Retail Electric Service Provider ('CRES') and Power Marketer ('Power Marketer') to residential, commercial and industrial customers."

Grand Energy also applied for FERC electricity market-based rate authority so that it may begin to act as a retail electric supplier.

The leadership of Grand Energy generally holds similar positions at High Rise Energy Group
