An ALJ at the Public Utility Commission of Texas has established a deadline for Southwestern Electric Power Company's (SWEPCO) response to the East Texas Salt Water Disposal Company's (ETSWD) petition for declaratory order and request for the opening of a pilot retail electric choice implementation project at SWEPCO.

The ALJ directed that PUC Staff must file comments and recommendations regarding the petition and notice and provide a proposed procedural schedule for processing the proceeding by October 23, 2020.
