WGL Energy announced the launch of its PowerLock product, described as, "our monthly subscription service for residential energy consumers in Pennsylvania"

WGL said that, with PowerLock, customers receive 100% renewable electricity for a fixed monthly subscription price starting, "as low as $19.99/month." A customer's PowerLock supply price is based on their home's historical electricity usage provided by their utility. Once established, the customer will pay the same flat price every month for electricity supply, regardless of weather or usage

PowerLock has no cancellation or early termination fee

PowerLock's monthly unlimited offer does not include electric distribution charges or repairs which are billed by the customer's electric utility.
