Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. has filed with the New York PSC its annual reconciliation of actual gas costs as compared to gas cost revenues

ConEd stated, "Table 1 (attached) shows the Company’s calculation of a charge to firm gas sales customers of approximately $32.44 million including interest, based on currently available data that is still undergoing review. This charge consists of a $28.97 million net Gas Cost Factor ('GCF') under-collection for the twelve months ended August 2020; a $2.62 million charge related to an under-collection of a GCF reconciliation for the twelve months ended August 31, 2018; and an estimated interest charge of approximately $0.85 million. The unit amount is about 3.71 cents per therm to be charged to firm gas customers through the GCF for the calendar year 2021."

Specifically, the surcharge would be $0.037126 per therm for firm service utility supply customers.
