Dynegy Energy Services (East) sought authority to use its existing trade names Better Buy Energy, Brighten Energy, True Fit Energy, and Honor Energy

Dynegy Energy Services (East) stated, "DESE is seeking approval from PUCO to become a natural gas supplier so they [sic] can expand their product of offerings to go along with the competitive electric supply options currently in market."

Dynegy Energy Services (East) is a unit of Vistra. Various other Vistra retail brands, such as Ambit and various brands acquired as part of Crius, already market retail natural gas supply in Ohio

Dynegy Energy Services (East) was previously licensed as an Ohio natural gas supplier but voluntarily relinquished the certificate in 2016
