Energy Supply Vet Joins Power Marketer As Managing Director, Origination

Guzman Energy, a wholesale power provider, named Andrew Heinle as Managing Director of Origination.
Heinle will be based out of South Dakota and responsible for the origination of power supply contracts, power purchase agreements, expanding existing business, and identifying new market opportunities throughout the country.
Heinle previously worked as the manager of origination for Tenaska Power Services, where he helped build their WECC trading and management business, including what Guzman described as two "landmark" deals in Nevada that assisted MGM Resorts and Caesars Entertainment exit from NV Energy for electricity supply.
Heinle, who has more than 20 years' experience in energy trading and management, most recently served as executive vice president of origination for Arevon Energy Management Heinle has also held positions at Black Hills Power, Midwest ISO, and the Mid-Continent Area Power Pool.
