PECO Files New Bypassable Transmission Rate, Part Of Price To Compare
The following story is brought free of charge to readers by EC Infosystems, the exclusive EDI provider of EnergyChoiceMatters.com
PECO has filed new amounts for the bypassable Transmission Service Charge (TSC), to be effective December 1, 2020, coincident with previously reported new Generation Supply Adjustment (GSA) charges, and a new Price to Compare
PECO has not yet filed new Prices to Compare reflecting the new TSCs
However, based on PECO's individual TSC and GSA filings, the December 1 residential (R) Price to Compare would be 6.426 cents per kWh, marginally higher than the current 6.369 cents per kWh. ECM stresses that this is not an official PTC as of yet.
For residential customers, the December 1 TSC rate change is a marginal decrease. The December 1 TSC is 0.506 cents per kWh versus the current 0.517 cents per kWh
