Maine Public Division Standard Offer Rate Falling 10% For Small Customers

The Maine PUC has released Standard Offer rates for customers at Versant Power - Maine Public Division (formerly Maine Public Service, or MPS), for the period beginning January 1, 2021

For the period January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021, the Standard Offer rate for the MPS small customer class is $0.060267 per kWh, or 10% lower than the current rate of $0.067294 per kWh.

For the medium customer class, 2021 rates vary by month and can be found here

The MPS large customer class Standard Offer rate was set previously and, as previously reported, it will be fixed at $0.07979 per kWh for the period January 1, 2021 through December 31, 2021, a 6% decrease versus the current rate of $0.08500 per kWh.
