Retail Energy Veteran Named VP, Partnerships & Renewables At Transparent Energy

Transparent Energy, a provider of online energy procurement solutions, named energy industry veteran David Braun as its new Vice President of Partnerships & Renewables.
Braun will be charged with growing Transparent Energy's industry and vertical market channel partnerships, while also driving the company's capabilities and opportunities in the clean energy space.
Prior to joining Transparent Energy, Braun was President at renewable generator and energy-storage developer GlidePath Power Solutions, where he led operations, maintenance, and asset management of the firm's 400 MW portfolio of wind, solar and energy-storage projects. Braun also previously served as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at procurement consultant Zenith Energy Network and broker Hospital Energy LLC
Braun has held numerous senior positions at retail energy suppliers, including Regional Vice President at GDF SUEZ Energy Resources NA; Director - Pricing at Direct Energy; Director - Marketing at Exelon Energy; and Director - Operations, Business Development at The New Power Company
Transparent Energy recently procured of over 1 billion kWh of energy for municipal aggregation Westchester Power
