Texas PUC Names New Executive Director

The Public Utility Commission of Texas promoted longtime agency employee, Thomas Gleeson, to the role of Executive Director for the agency.

Having held multiple roles since joining the agency in 2008, Gleeson most recently served as Chief Operating Officer for the PUC.

Gleeson began his career as a legislative analyst for the Texas Senate and was a budget analyst for the Legislative Budget Board immediately before joining the PUC twelve years ago.

The PUC also announced that Paytyn Woltersdorf will be joining Chairman DeAnn Walker’s office as advisor on January 1st. Woltersdorf has been a member of the PUC since 2013 and most recently served as Advisor to the Executive Director.
