SmartEnergy Holdings, LLC d/b/a SmartEnergy filed with the Maryland PSC a Notice of Appeal of a proposed order in a proceeding addressing alleged violations by the supplier

SmartEnergy will file its supporting brief on or before January 25, 2021.

As first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com the proposed order in the proceeding would provide that SmartEnergy may only continue to serve its existing customers if such customers affirmatively consent to the continuation of such service. The proposed order would require certain customer refunds and would save, for a later date, disposition of civil penalty sought by PSC Staff
