The FirstEnergy Pennsylvania utilities have filed new tariffed commercial PTC-Default rates with the PUC for the three-month period starting March 1, 2021

The PTC-Default rates are the all-in default service rates without the application of the State Tax Adjustment Surcharge (essentially, the PTC prior to application of the STAS), which is currently 0%. The utilities have not yet posted new official PTCs; the tariff filings with the new rates have not yet been approved by the PUC as of publication time

At Met-Ed, the tariffed commercial PTC-Default rate will increase 6% to $0.06175 per kWh effective March 1, versus the current $0.05821 per kWh

At Penelec, the tariffed commercial PTC-Default rate will increase 7% to $0.06049 per kWh effective March 1, versus the current $0.05633 per kWh

At Penn Power, the tariffed commercial PTC-Default rate will increase 14% to $0.07564 per kWh effective March 1, versus the current $0.06616

At West Penn Power, the tariffed commercial PTC-Default rate will decrease 15% to $0.04844 per kWh effective March 1, versus the current $0.05703 per kWh

All of the new PTC-Default rates for the FirstEnergy Pennsylvania EDCs are to be in effect for the period March 1, 2021 through May 31, 2021.
