terrapass (Just Energy) Introduces Enhanced Online Offerings For Home, Business Carbon Offsets, Recent Contract Win

"Now, terrapass makes it easier than ever for customers to enroll in carbon offsetting plans that fit their carbon footprint with only a few simple pieces of information using our two new products – Carbon Balanced Living Plan (for individuals and families) and Carbon Balanced Business Plan," terrapass said
The Carbon Balanced Living Plan provides offsets based on a customer's household size, number of cars, and flights per year. For example, a 1 person, 1 car household with 0 flights can purchase carbon offsets of 25,000 lbs per year for $9.35 per month
The Carbon Balanced Business Plan provides offsets based on the number of employees under a monthly subscription plan
terrapass also announced that Talking Rain, a beverage company, recently chose to partner with terrapass to address its carbon footprint from natural gas use and fleet emissions in the United States. This year’s partnership will address 100% of their Scope 1 and 2 emissions. Talking Rain will fund over 28,000 metric tons of carbon offsets in 2021 through investments in certified emission reduction projects across the United States
