New York PSC To Create Working Groups On Retail Electric Choice Issues At LIPA, Schedules Technical Conference

The New York State Department of Public Service (DPS) will hold a virtual technical conference on March 4, 2021, to establish a schedule for working groups, and determine topics for further working group meetings, regarding the potential benefits to customers of retail competition in the Long Island electricity market, and to develop the overall timeline of the participatory process.

Persons interested in participating in the technical conference should (1) review the issues raised in the PSC's current (Matter 15-02754) proceeding, including those discussed in comments and reply comments received to date in response to the Notice Seeking Comments, issued October 16, 2020, and (2) be prepared to address and consider those issues as they relate only to the Long Island electricity market.
A proposed agenda will be provided by DPS Staff prior to March 4, 2021.
