ERCOT Reports That It Has Received Payments For Prior Short-Paid QSE Invoices
The following story is brought free of charge to readers by EC Infosystems, the exclusive EDI provider of EnergyChoiceMatters.com
ERCOT issued a market notice stating, "On February 19, 2021, Qualified Scheduling Entities (QSEs) and Congestion Revenue Right Account Holders (CRRAHs) that were owed monies from ERCOT Settlement Invoices were short-paid as a result of the failure of GRIDDY ENERGY LLC 1 (QSE) and MQE LLC (QSE) to make timely payment on a Settlement Invoice. ERCOT has received payment for the outstanding Settlement Invoices and, as a result, will be issuing additional payments to affected QSEs and CRRAHs. The short-paid Settlement Invoices were originally issued on February 16, 2021."
The Total Amount Originally Shorted to Market was $1,561,870.12. The Total Amount of Subsequent Payout to Market was $1,561,871.15
