Pepco-DC SOS Rates Increasing For Residential, GS-ND Customers

Pepco has filed new electric SOS rates with the District of Columbia for the 12-month period beginning June 1, 2021

As part of the filing, Pepco is updating the bypassable SOS Admin. charge for some classes. The Company proposes no changes in the Administrative Charge for Residential and for Market Price Service customers of $0.0015 per kWh and $0.0000 respectively. The Company proposes a decrease for Small Commercial customers from $0.0045 to $0.0035 per kWh and an increase for Large Commercial from $0.002 to $0.004 per kWh.

For Schedule R, Residential customers, Pepco's June 1, 2021 Generation charge will be a minimum charge of $1.91 per month and $0.06222 per kWh for usage in excess of 30 kWh, with an Admin. charge of $0.00150 per kWh. This is higher than the current winter SOS charge of $1.80 per month and $0.05848 per kWh for usage in excess of 30 kWh with the same Admin. charge, and also higher the year-ago summer charges.

For Schedule GS - ND customers, Pepco's Generation charge will be June 1, 2021 $0.06093 per kWh plus an Admin. charge of $0.00350 per kWh, which is higher than the current charge of $0.05600 per kWh plus an Admin. charge of $0.00450 per kWh
