National Grid Residential, Commercial Default Service Rates To Decrease 20%

National Grid has filed with the Massachusetts DPU new electricity basic service rates for the period beginning May 1, 2021.
For residential customers, including proposed changes in the Basic
Service Administrative Cost Adjustment Factors (BSACFs) and
Smart Grid Customer Cost Adjustment Factors (SGCCAFs) that are to take effect on May 1, the National Grid basic service rate will be 9.728¢ per kWh effective May 1, which is 20% lower than the current 12.388¢ per kWh
For commercial customers, including proposed changes in the Basic
Service Administrative Cost Adjustment Factors (BSACFs) and
Smart Grid Customer Cost Adjustment Factors (SGCCAFs) that are to take effect on May 1, the National Grid basic service rate will be 8.455¢ per kWh effective May 1, which is 20% lower than the current 10.763¢ per kWh
