Retail Supplier Enters Settlement Concerning Late RPS Filing

Energy of New England, LLC ("Mega Energy" or the "Company") has entered into a settlement with the Office of Education, Outreach, and
Enforcement ("EOE") of the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority of Connecticut to resolve the allegation that Mega Energy had not timely filed its 2019 annual RPS
compliance report
Under the settlement, Mega
Energy shall make a donation to Operation Fuel, Inc. in the
amount of $7,500
Mega Energy provided the following statement concerning the matter:
"Mega Energy understands the importance of timely and accurate compliance filings, including the annual RPS report. When we became aware of the delayed filing, we discovered the event was caused by a process gap between a third-party service provider and a former internal team member, a situation made worse by our need to work in remote locations during the pandemic. We have introduced the necessary process improvements required to eliminate the chance of recurrence in the future and we appreciate the efforts of the Office of Education, Outreach, and Enforcement to turn this unfortunate event for Mega Energy into a positive outcome for Operation Fuel."
