Texas Transmission Owner In ERCOT Discloses New Competitive Affiliate: Residential Energy Solutions, LLC

Lone Star Transmission, LLC, a unit of NextEra Energy, has disclosed the creation of a new competitive affiliate in Texas: Residential Energy Solutions, LLC
Under Lone Star Transmission, LLC's code of conduct, the term "competitive affiliate" means, "An affiliate of Lone Star that provides services or sells
products in a competitive energy-related market in the State of Texas, including
telecommunications services, to the extent those services are energy related."
Residential Energy Solutions, LLC was formed as a Delaware LLC in January 2021, and registered as a foreign LLC operating in Texas earlier this month
Other competitive affiliates of Lone Star Transmission include retail electric providers Gexa and Frontier Utilities, LLC, and brokers Power Wizard, LLC; Usource, LLC; and Premier Power Solutions, LLC.
NextEra Energy, Inc. did not respond to an inquiry to its media relations department concerning Residential Energy Solutions, LLC by publication time
