Texas Retail Provider, Already Subject To POLR Drop, Files For Ch. 11 Bankruptcy

Entrust Energy, Inc., along with certain affiliates including Entrust Energy East, Inc. and Power of Texas Holdings, Inc., have filed voluntary petitions for bankruptcy under Chapter 11 in the Southern District of Texas
As first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com, each of these three retail providers recently had their customers dropped to the provider of last resort, or the equivalent default service in their specific market.
Entrust Energy, Inc.'s filing listed estimated liabilities as $50,000,001 - $100 million, with estimated assets of $100,000,001 - $500 million
Entrust Energy, Inc.'s filing noted that ERCOT has an unsecured claim of $270 million
As of the time of publication, the only filings available were each entity's standard Official Form 201. Narrative filings associated with the bankruptcy were not yet available
