Duquesne Light Residential, Small Commercial Default Supply Rates Increasing On June 1

Duquesne Light filed with the Pennsylvania PUC the default service supply rates for the periods beginning June 1, 2021

The default service supply rate, or supply charge, reflects generation supply only, unlike the official Prices to Compare which also reflect transmission and the state tax adjustment surcharge. Official new PTCs have not yet been posted

The supply charge for Residential (Rate Schedules RS, RH and RA) customers will be 5.4595¢/kWh for the period June 1, 2021, through November 30, 2021, an increase of 5% from the current 5.1994¢/kWh

The supply charge for Small Commercial & Industrial customers (<25 kW, Rate Schedules GS/GM and GMH and Rate Schedule UMS) will be 5.2649¢/kWh kWh for the period June 1, 2021, through November 30, 2021, an increase of nearly 5% from the current 5.0497¢/kWh

The supply charge for Medium Commercial & Industrial customers (25-200 kW, Rate Schedules GM and GMH) will be 5.2045¢/kWh for the period June 1, 2021 through August 31, 2021, an increase of 22% from the current 4.2487¢/kWh
