PECO Mass Market Prices To Compare Increasing On June 1

PECO has filed with the Pennsylvania PUC new electric Prices to Compare (PTCs) for the period beginning June 1, 2021
The PTCs are pending PUC approval.
For residential customers (R, RH), PECO's PTC effective June 1, 2021 will be 6.323 cents per kWh, marginally higher than the current rate of 6.267 cents per kWh
For General Service (GS) customers at or under 100 kW, PECO's PTC effective June 1 will be 5.897 cents per kWh, marginally higher than the current rate of 5.774 cents per kWh
For Primary - Distribution Power (PD) customers at or under 100 kW, PECO's PTC effective June 1 will be 5.668 cents per kWh, marginally higher than the current rate 5.545 cents per kWh
For High - Tension Power (HT) customers at or under 100 kW, PECO's PTC effective June 1 will be 5.456 cents per kWh, marginally higher than the current rate of 5.335 cents per kWh
The new PTCs are to be effective June 1, 2021 through August 31, 2021.
Underlying Generation Supply Adjustment
The PTC changes results from PECO updating the Generation Supply Adjustment (GSA) charges for the period beginning June 1, 2021
The GSA (labeled generation charge) is the largest component of the Price to Compare (PTC).
For residential customers (R, RH), PECO's GSA effective June 1, 2021 will be $0.05817, marginally higher than the current rate of $0.05761 per kWh
For General Service (GS) customers at or under 100 kW, PECO's GSA effective June 1 will be $0.05366, marginally higher than the current rate of $0.05243 per kWh
For Primary - Distribution Power (PD) customers at or under 100 kW, PECO's GSA effective June 1 will be $0.05275, marginally higher than the current rate of $0.05152 per kWh
For High - Tension Power (HT) customers at or under 100 kW, PECO's GSA effective June 1 will be $0.05063, marginally higher than the current rate of $0.04942 per kWh
The new GSAs are to be effective June 1, 2021 through August 31, 2021. The rates remain subject to PUC approval
