United Illuminating Residential Default Service Rate To Decrease 15%; Small Commercial Rate Decreasing 13%

United Illuminating has filed new default service rates with the Connecticut PURA for the period beginning July 1, 2021

The July 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021 UI residential (Rate R) Standard Service rate will be 8.0103¢/kWh, which is 15% lower than the current UI Rate R rate of 9.3694¢/kWh. All of the Standard Service rates in this story include the Bypassable FMCC (where applicable) which is zero.

The UI Rate GS Standard Service rate will decrease 13% to 7.8593¢/kWh on July 1, 2021, from the current rate of 9.0725¢/kWh

New Standard Service rates for July 2021 through December 2021 are as follows, in cents per kWh (for Rates LPT & GST, rates only applicable for customers under 500 kW).
